Nasirah Nur Ibrahim received her education from Universiti Teknologi MARA and took classes from Mustafa Fuzer Nawi, Yeoh Pei Ann, and Radzali Mustaffa. Before she enrolled in university she had classes with Zameelah Borhan from the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) and Yap Jian Mei from Ann Perreau Music Studios. She has attended masterclasses held both local and abroad with Margherita Marseglia, Jassen Todorov, Josef Spacek, Amaury Coeytaux and Maud Lovett.

She has performed with the National Youth Symphony Orchestra (OSR), the Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (MPYO), and the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO). In 2016, she went on to further her studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS), United Kingdom and graduated with a Master of Music in Violin Performance in 2018 under the tutelage of Bernard Docherty from the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. In the UK, she has performed in various chamber ensembles in the RCS as well as performed with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO). In July 2018, she joined the Nevis Ensemble and was appointed the Principal for Second Violin. Upon returning to Malaysia she has performed with orchestras such as the National Symphony Orchestra Malaysia (NSO), Selangor Symphony Orchestra (SSO), Kamerata Kuala Lumpur, and Orkestra Kuala Lumpur (OKL). Other than performing, she has also been invited to coach young musicians at the Permata Seni Muzik Orkestra (PSM) and Selangor Symphony Youth Orchestra (SSYO).
